Quality, Compliance and Progress Officer

We are seeking a Quality, Compliance and Progress Officer to join our team on a Part-time (14.4 hours per week), permanent basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Quality, Compliance and Progress Officer, you support Apprentices and employers on their journey with the College. You will work as part of the Apprenticeship team contributing towards recruitment, retention, achievement and funding targets. 

You will:

  • Participate in the marketing of new and existing provision and to attend college and curriculum area open events to promote growth.
  • Take part in the recruitment, interviewing and assessment of potential apprentices, including internal progressions of class based learners and provide information and guidance on apprenticeship programmes.
  • Respond to enquiries or requests for information from employers and potential apprentices providing guidance and information on appropriate programmes.
  • Organise and undertake the sign up of new apprentices working with Trainer Coaches, employer and apprentice to ensure all parties are aware of the requirements of the apprenticeship in line with relevant funding and audit guidance.
  • Maintain regular contact with  employers to ensure that they are actively involved in the training and are satisfied with the programme. 

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a passionate and committed Quality, Compliance and Progress Officer who understands the transformational impact of Apprenticeships.

You should have:

  • A recognised training or teaching qualification (Teaching, training & assessing learning L3) or willingmess to undertake a qualification 

In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in delivering briefing sessions and presentations.
  • Experience with working under publicly funded contracts subject to inspection regimes.
  • Experience working with, understanding and morivating young people
  • Experience tracking and monitoring learner progress using digital systems
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective use of learner management and customer relationship management systems
  • A commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing
